Irelands top supermarkets were judged on quality of food; organic sourcing policy; store layout; display presentation; freshness guarantees; breadth of ranges; customer service and staff attention to detail.
Fresh -The Good Food Market in Smithfield won the 'Best Fruit & Vegetable Department in Ireland' category at the annual Best in Fresh Awards.
A few words from the General Manager
"We've been open here at Smithfield for over 18 months and we received a great response from local residents and office workers. We were the very first Fresh -The Good Food Market store, and the reaction has been very positive, because we aren't your ordinary, typical supermarket.
Because we offer a wide range of fresh, gourmet and speciality produce, we're different to the other supermarkets around Dublin, but you'll still find competitive prices on our shelves.
We're finding that shoppers aren't just coming to us for their everyday shopping, they're also shopping with us for those special occasions too, such as Easter, Valentine's Day and not forgetting Mother's Day. Our gourmet hampers, packed full of treats, are also very popular at Christmas.
We're open until 10pm every night, so the team and I look forward to seeing you in Smithfield in the very near future- we're only a five minute walk from the Red Luas Stop at Smithfield."
